Radiophrenia - 26mins

Broadcast in February 2022 as part of Glasgow’s Radiophrenia audio art festival.

There is an area of water which lies exactly midway between England and France in the English Channel - a place where dark thoughts and creatures rove - this area is called the Separation Zone.

This story is about a swimmer traversing the Strait of Dover by moonlight. As the swimmer delves deeper into night, he relives instances from his childhood and seeks deliverance from the past.

Separation Zone captures the emotional expanse left by schizophrenia but is ultimately about the endurance of a mother's love.
